“Live out of your imagination and not your history.”

Experiencing life’s tragedies is hard. While you are going through things, you can’t understand why it is happening to you. As you go through the challenges of life, embrace it, don’t run away from it. It is important to deal with the difficulties of life; making the hard decisions that you want to make, learning those things that you don’t want to learn. You must have faith. And that faith will give you patience. Faith and patience drive you into action. You must keep on working.

The Chinese bamboo tree takes five years to grow. You have to water and fertilize it every day. It doesn’t break the ground until the fifth year. But once it breaks through the ground, within five weeks, it grows 90 feet tall. The question is, does it grow 90 feet tall in five weeks or in five years. The kind of person you become in the process is more important than the dream. The character that you build, the faith and courage that you manifest, will sustain you through whatever life throws at you.
